Solutions to Our Economic Problems

1. The federal government will enact a law that all U.S. citizens must bank their money in the U.S.

2. All U.S. citizens must pay a fair tax on their money that will not only support our government, but our infrastructures that are falling apart and being downsized.

3. All the jobs that the corporations have sent out of our country must return.

4. CEO's will receive twice as much salary as their highest paid manager. Their huge compensations will go to their workers.

5. Wall St. will be taxed on its transactions.

6. The Federal Reserve will be eradicated.

7. Citizens United will be revoked and Scalia and Thomas will be retired.

8. Lobbying will be illegal.

9. The two-party system will be disbanded.

10. Candidates for legislatures will declare their bank accounts before taking office. At the end of their terms, bank accounts that increased more than 10% of their salaries while in office will be returned to their states' general funds.

11. All major banks will be cut in half and full disclosures made to their customers each quarter.

12. The Pentagon will be downsized to eliminate all over-kill and waste, including over-paid generals.

13. No more bailing out foreign countries that we are exploiting.

14. No corporations shall hoard billions of dollars while they pay their workers a starving wage.

There's much, much more that could help our country not become another Roman Empire. I truly do believe that if anyone wants to be a citizen in our country, he or she, no matter how wealthy or poor, should support it in a responsible way and help make it into a great nation again. I do care and I'm sure you do too. We all need to become vocal on the changes that need to be made.

Hiatus

I apologize for the long time in between posts. What with the flu for a many days starting on Christmas Day, getting a new computer with Windows 8, traveling and being active in monitoring the Idaho legislature, etc., it seems difficult to get back here. But now I am back and have many subjects I want to write about. Hope to hear from you.
