When Randall Stephenson, the CEO of AT&T retires, he will receive a quarter of a million dollars EACH Month for life. One of his impressive achievements that helped him earn that much compensation was to destroy 54,000 U.S. jobs since 2007!
On the other hand, Lowell McAdam, chief of Verizon, has destroyed only 30,000 U.S. jobs since 2007. This poor guy won't receive quite the pension Randall will.
These two megalith companies are worth researching if you want to know how crazy off balance our country is. You might even want to consider not using their services. I know you can't get all the services for your phone with other companies such as CREDO, but, really, do you want to support this kind of non-patriotism and greed?
Like Thom Hartman says,these guys are literally sociopaths. How can our society justify such greed and inequity? I use a tiny little company here in Clarion,PA called GR cellular. It costs about half what I paid at Verizon.
